I found a great, tasty, healthy snack.

Almond Chocolate Chip Parfait
1/2c fat free or low fat yogurt
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 Tbsp Mini Chocolate Chips
2 pinches of slivered almonds
This snack is really great. You still get some chocolate as well as some protein in your diet. This is very low in calories as well. This would be a great snack for kids as well.

Sorry for the delay!
Sorry all! I have been behind on my posting. I really wanted to be good about posting regularly. will try to keep updates coming. You can also leave any comments or questions at the bottom of each post.
Well wedding plans are flying by. I feel like I have nothing really done, but things have really started coming together lately. I finally found my dress yesterday evening. So that is decided on and paid for (which is always good!). So that was a major thing that I had to get finished. Hopefully, everything from here on out will be a breeze.
I am staying so busy with school and work that it makes planning this wedding a little difficult. Many elements of the wedding haven't gotten the attention that they need. My next major things to get settled are checking on my flowers, finding the design for my cake, deciding which hairstyle I like best, and deciding which resort we want in Jamaica. Decisions, decisions.
So things are still going here. I will try to be more disciplined about my posting as well.

A Little About My Couponing
As I am sure you can tell from the title of my blog, I am a couponer. I have become absolutely obsessed with this money saving method. Due to my new found fun, I have gotten my mother into coupons hot and heavy again. I remember as a child that my mother would use coupons for food many times, but it was never in the manner I have learned today. Unfortunately, due to the area that I live in, I don't really get to use many coupons on food. The bulk of my couponing is on health and beauty products, cleaning products, air freshners, candles, etc. I have come to know the true sense of stockpiling. Buy when the price is low for later when the item isn't on sale. I have been lucky to be able to get a decent stockpile going. THis keeps me from have to run to the store at any given time to buy something at full price. I commonly mention my life slogan...."if it ain't free, I don't want it"! I know that is not exactly the most gramatically correct!! I hope to share my passion and knowledge with all that I can.
I do remember as a child, there were times when I would be embarrassed that my mom was using coupons. I have attempted to not put those ideas in our child's mind. L thinks it is the coolest thing that I use coupons and get so much for so little. We have turned it into a game. Anytime I shop, we have a game to guess how much I spent. I always spend way less than he guesses. So he gets really excited about the concept. To get something for free is the best thing in the world to a 7 year old.
I have only been doing coupons a little over a year. I started slowly but surely and continue to learn more and more. It all starts by buying the Sunday newspaper that has coupon inserts in it. This is the best source for your coupons.
More to come on the ins and outs of couponing.
